ba noi's

marco and i are fans of asian cuisines, vietnamese included. and whenever we crave for vietnamese dishes, we usually eat at pho hoa or aquaknox so it was a pleasant surprise to discover a new vietnamese restaurant in perea, makati.

ba noi's in vietnamese means a grandmother on the father side. it could also mean a culinary experience that brings together authentic and traditional processes, ingredients and recipes from vietnamese cuisine.

the small restaurant's ambience and smell was so inviting it made me so hungry while the warm lights and the friendly greetings of the staff made us feel welcome.

anyways, when the waitress handed us their menu, i eagerly scanned through it only to find out their choices were not as plenty as the other vietnamese places we've been to so we settled for fried spring rolls (P160) and beef noodle soup (P225).

the fried spring rolls (6pcs)  were so crisp and tasty you'd ask for more. their beef noodle soup was already good for two. just ask the waiter to split it and serve in separate bowls. the pho was also delish! the beef was tender and the soup was hot and flavorful. to add more taste, you can pour more lime, beans sprouts, basil and chili.

ba noi's did not disappoint! we'll surely come back to try their other dishes. so if you feel like eating vietnamese, try this restaurant found at the ground floor of greenbelt mansions in perea st. makati. just be sure to be there early because they close at 9pm.

(open from mon-sat, 11am-9pm)
