would you rent an Hermes?

Usually, one can only wish to touch, hold and carry a Balenciaga or an Hermes purse as they're exclusive, elusive and expensive. So if you're low on budget and would rather pay the rent than purchase a bag but couldn't fight the urge, you may want to check this site  - http://www.avelle.com/

It's a website for the bag hags who cannot afford to buy these coveted and uber expensive purses but are sooo willing to rent 'em out. All you need to do is sign in and pay a membership fee of $60 and viola, that Prada you're eyeing for is not far from reach no more (but I am pretty sure it's only applicable to the US residents).

Personally, I am not that thrilled with this idea. I'd rather work my ass off to buy one for myself rather than strut it knowing I just loaned it.

Well, to each his own.

Japan's quirky fashion sense

I was asked by a friend/officemate to look for pegs on tokyo fashion as he needs it for his upcoming  February wedding with "Manila to Tokyo" as their theme. I was of course more than willing to do so but what hampered me on where to start is which site to look into. And then I stumbled upon http://www.tokyofashion.com/.

I went gaga over Japan's fashion sense as the outfits range from wearable and acceptable to outrageous and out of this world (actually only in Japan. haha!). Very quirky and crazy indeed! Actually, seeing their outfits made me want to go to Japan and dress like them (feeling ko walang baduy baduy dun! haha!)

I must say, only the Japs can pull these off! :)

The Colonel has arrived!!!

Yes, I got my Longchamp (Jeremy Scott edition - in bilberry) last December 14 when  Marco's dad's balikbayan box finally arrived. He ordered from the Longchamp's webbie and arrived in Chicago (where his dad lives) a few days after. I had to wait for more than a month but I tell you, it was worth the wait. I got thrilled when i finally got it! Love, love, love!

(Longchamp delivered it to Marco's dad's house in Chicago)

(it was packed in this moss green envelope)

just when i thought my longchamp craving has died down, i saw this pic from chuvaness.com and my heart skipped a bit.

JWTwenties Party!

We so rocked the holidays! As usual, the tribe partied in style... 1920's fashion that is.

Last December 17, Manila Hotel (Champagne Room) became  Juniper Salon and housed the fabulous flappers and gorgeous men in suits (and trekkies too. haha! - yes from Star Trek!).
SKAbeche made a fabulous performance that made the people dance like there was no tomorrow. GCs (overnight stay, buffet dinner and SPA) from Manila Hotel as well as cash prizes were given away.

It was ROARING 20's indeed!

(Below are some of the crazy photos from the party)

The Colonel

I can't wait for you to finally arrive, my dear Colonel!!!
I know, I know I should be patient though I sometimes couldn't help it.
I just couldn't keep you out of my head.
December 14...get your ass here quickly!
