since november 2006 , i have been receiving updates via my gmail on who has been viewing my profile, who has "bought" me or who has been sending me messages but i never attempted to check it until today and i was surprised to see how blonde i was four years ago. acck!
today, after almost four years of being inactive in tagged social network, i am canceling my account. i never really used it anyways. i just accepted my friend's invite to join thinking it was as fun as the then "it" network, friendster.
i am afraid of identity theft and i don't want to manage too many social network accounts more than i can really handle. now i've got one less network/site to be active in. i am happy to just manage facebook, twitter, multiply and blogspot. phew!

If you are concerned about your identity being stolen, I recommend using an identity theft protection service like Lifelock. http://www.lifelock.com/landing/real/safe . They are currently offering 10% off if you use promo code SAFEID1. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteI 'm also a contracted representative of LifeLock, so if you have any questions about thier identity theft protection services, let me know.
